At our associate company, Litoempaques (an enterprise dedicated to tin lithography, decorative tin container assembly, and the specialized manufacturing of dry foods packaging) a special hiring policy is applied, which looks to reduce sexual discrimination.
Three quarters of the work force is made up of women, 40% of which are single mothers. These special women are not only given employment opportunities.
They also receive training workshops that help them confront the challenges of their personal situation, and special recreational events for the well-being of their families. More than 200 single-parent families are benefitted by this program.
